The Canadian government issued an invitation to 3350 immigration applicants through Express E-mail on May 1, 2012 to enable them to apply for permanent residence. The quid pro quo rating of this admission was 450, which compared with the last admission on April 17, suggests a one-point reduction. Since February this year, this is the fourth time that the rating limit for a comprehensive rating system has been reduced.
The acceptance of yesterday, May 1st, brought the total number of invitations this year to 31,250. With this in mind, more than 6,500 more invitations were issued compared to the previous year to this year. The Canadian Immigration Administration uses the tie-break rule for this admission: November 5, 2018 Ross at 12:27:07 am Eastern Standard Time. This means that all applicants who submitted their profile prior to this date and their rating of 450 and above have received invitations to this round of admissions.
